hey all! well here are some more pics of spence! he is doing great! from the pics it looks like the only thing they do is eat and play (: but we know he works hard!!
he said this today "well yeah this last week was really good. we were going to have a baptism but we are going to have it this next week because she wants to be baptised with her daughter. so that will be cool. this saturday or the next.... ...this last week i got to talk to some of my converts in an old area. it was so much fun. they wanted me to go back and see them so bad. i really hope that i am in that zone again so i can go and visit them on a Pday. but yeah. i am really loving the mission."

My eyes were opened not long ago from a missionary's talk: he spoke on the yoke of Christ. We hear of this yoke and think "It a lot of work - how it is easy?" But the missionary compared it to a young woman they met - pregnant, had a sexually transmitted disease, had a boyfriend - living under a bridge... Their yoke was massive and very heavy. The yoke of Christ in keeping the commandments keeps you out of these type of heavy, heavy burdens. It was a great lesson from a young man: Don't ever under estimate YOUR power to touch and teach!
